Goal Posts update for March

Easter Basket quilt block

Once again I have surpassed my monthly writing goal! My goal was 16,000 words. I actually wrote 21,181.

Nearly all the words I wrote last month were for my composting book, but a few hundred were for the quilting patterns I’m developing for Quilting Weekly. My first pattern should go up for sale on the site in a couple of weeks. We had hoped to have it up earlier (since it’s an Easter-themed pattern); alas both Chris and I were too busy. It’s still a lovely block though even if you don’t add the appliquéd Easter eggs.

I am working on the June pattern and I’m trying to come up with a nice bonus pattern to go with it. I’m thinking of maybe a small clutch purse or something similar. Any other ideas? If so, I’d love to hear them – leave a comment!
