Kelly Smith is the author of Open Your Heart with Quilting: Mastering Life Through Love of the Patches (Dreamtime Publishing 2008) and How to Build, Maintain, and Use a Compost System (Atlantic Publishing, 2011).
From September 2010 until June 2011, she was Senior Editor of Quilter’s Newsletter magazine.
From September 2008 until September 2010, she wrote about quilting for Examiner.com. She was also published in Quilter’s Home magazine’s November 2008 issue.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada, Kelly currently lives in Colorado, USA with her husband and their two cats.
Kelly has written short stories, websites, blogs, and technical documents. When she got the opportunity to write Open Your Heart with Quilting it was the fulfillment of a thirty-plus year dream. Her most recent book is How to Build, Maintain, and Use a Compost System for Atlantic Publishing.
